Thai And Asian Air Hostesses
There are good reasons to fly with the thai budget air carriers, above all they are ridicously cheap compared to what we are used to and as an added perk the female air crew is usually very, very cute!
In the beginning I could never understand why it seemed like the contestants for Miss Thailand were always working as stewardesses, I mean, I know many girls want that job in the west too, but nothing like this!
Then a friend told me the story of air hostesses in Asia. It turns out being an air hostess here, is very prestigious and sought after. Especially in Korea and Japan, but in Thailand as well. A magazine did a survey among its male readers on what female professions were the most sexy. And sure enough air hostesses trumped other usual mentions like nurses by a landslide!
I have later learned that in Korea, auctions for a dinner date with Korean Airs girls can run into thousands of dollars, and this really is only for dinner (in case your dirty mind thought otherwise). So great is the fascination with air hostesses, they are commonly featured in calendars and magazines.
